Automation Anywhere Raises $290M in Series B Financing

automation anywhereAutomation Anywhere, a San Jose, Calif.-based Robotic Process Automation (RPA) company, raised $290m in Series B funding at a post money valuation of $6.8 billion.

The round was led by Salesforce Ventures with participation from existing investors SoftBank Investment Advisers and Goldman Sachs.

The company intends to use the capital to expand its reach and advance its focus on improving human-to-bot collaboration through attended automation, resulting in enhanced customer experiences and increased employee productivity.

Led by Mihir Shukla, CEO and co-founder, Automation Anywhere is a Robotic Process Automation (RPA) company enabling customers to automate end-to-end business processes with software bots – digital workers that perform repetitive and manual tasks, resulting in productivity gains, improved customer experience and engaged employees.
