Xcademy, a London, UK-based e-learning services startup, closed a £440k seed funding round.
Smaller Company Capital made the investment, which post money valued the company at £4.4m.
The company intends to use the funds to launch an online education portal for young people.
Founded by Oliver Bell, and Joel Morris, Xcademy provides students with a year-long rewarding educational program to teach life skills via video tutorials, customized content, and tools to engage with others and to monitor progress.
