UiPath Buys StepShot to Add Process Documentation to RPA Platform

uipathUiPath, a NYC-based RPA software company, acquired StepShot, a Tallinn, Estonia-based provider of Process Documentation software.

The amount of the deal was not disclosed.

Together, the two companies will accelerate customers’ automation journeys by enabling them to record, document and share processes as well as automate key steps in robot creation.
Building on this and the ProcessGold acquisition, the company has introduced the UiPath Explorer family, which enables users to identify, document, analyze and prioritize processes, with the ability to understand both front-line and back-line operations, through scientific and visual analysis.

Led by Daniel Dines, co-founder and CEO, and PD Singh, vice president of AI, UiPath provides an enterprise Robotic Process Automation (RPA) platform that has already automated millions of repetitive, mind-numbing tasks for business and government organizations all over the world, improving productivity, customer experience and employee job satisfaction.

Led by CEO and Co-Founder Sasha Reminnyi, StepShot provides a software platform for screenshot-based IT documents, technical instructions, user manuals, and step-by-step reference guides.
