Stride Funding (formerly AlmaPact Inc.), a San Francisco, CA-based education funding startup, closed a seed round of funding of undisclosed amount.
The round was led by GSV Ventures with participation from Slow Ventures, Sinai Ventures, and Strada Education.
The company intends to use the funds to accelerate development of its distributed Income Share Agreements (“ISA”) for graduate school.
Led by Tess Michaels, Founder and CEO, Stride provides Income Share Agreements (“ISA”) for graduate school that allow graduates to share a percentage of their future income in exchange for tuition funding.
The company’s executive team includes professionals with experience at Goldman Sachs, JP Morgan Chase, SoFi, and Morgan Stanley.
