Place Technology, an Austin, Texas-based maker of a Salesforce powered corporate performance management platform, raised $3m in funding.
The round was led by Geekdom Fund with participation from Star Vista Capital and a select group of angel investors.
The company intends to use the funds to accelerate growth and initial product launch.
Formed in late 2018 and led by CEO Brandon Metcalf and CTO Kabe VanderBaan, Place Technology provides a corporate performance management solution, called PlaceCPM, which is designed for small and medium businesses with limitations of time, cash flow, and resources to balance growth and profitability.
PlaceCPM combines transactional-level financial and cash forecasting, budgeting, modeling, consolidations and core planning with advanced collaboration, workflows, reporting and visualization tools in one application natively built on the Salesforce Platform.
