Firedome Raises $10M in Series A Funding

firedomeFiredome, a NYC- and and Tel Aviv-based endpoint cybersecurity solution designed to allow IoT device manufacturers to proactively prevent, detect, and respond in real-time to vulnerabilities in connected devices, closed a $10M Series A funding round.

The round was led by Two Sigma Ventures, with participation from World Trade Ventures, Silvertech Ventures, and seed investors.

The company, which has secured $14.5m in funding, intends to use the funds to continue expanding its solutions and sales efforts to address additional IoT device verticals, such as industrial IoT and enterprise IoT connected devices.

Founded in 2018 and led by Moti Shkolnik, CEO, Firedome offers a real-time, endpoint cybersecurity solution for IoT companies, broad in its detection abilities, interoperable across multiple operating systems, and scalable to millions of devices. Firedome provides a multi-layered holistic security platform, including a lightweight agent backed by machine learning and a dedicated 24/7 security operations center, that detects, prevents and responds to attacks on IoT devices, thereby eliminating security breaches, decreasing operational costs, and reducing emergency firmware upgrades.
