Burst Oral Care, a Los Angeles, CA-based sonic oral care company, secured over $20m in funding.
Backers included Volition Capitol and a small group of seed investors.
The company intends to use the funds to accelerate product development and market penetration.
Co-founded in 2017 by Hamish Khayat and Brittany Stewart, Burst Oral Care is a subscription oral care company developing and selling a sonic toothbrush in collaboration with a community of dental professionals.
Burst, currently in parntership with Chrissy Teigen, is preparing for a product category expansion launching November 2019 as well as global expansion coming Spring 2020 with availability in the UK. It is also further expanding sales channels with a launch on Amazon and increasing its Ambassador community to over 20,000 members.
