ApetEat Raises €1M in Funding

ApetEat, a Madrid, Spain-based online food delivery service, raised €1M in funding.

The round was led by Big Sur Ventures and All Iron Ventures.

The company intends to use the funds to further develop its online lunch service for offices, known as Lunch As A Benefit (for employees, subsidized by the company) and strengthen its expansion and growth strategy.

Founded in 2015 by David Samaranch, Pablo Samaranch and Eduardo Liviano, ApetEat provides an online food delivery service based on a Mediterranean diet with with rotation of recipes. In three years, the startup has served more than 250,000 lunches to more than 20,000 users in more than 2,000 companies in Madrid.
The company has just been selected to participate in Lanzadera, the Mercadona-backed Incubator. It just graduated from the Google Residency international program.
