Shopmonkey, a San Jose, Calif.-based auto-repair shop software company, raised $10m in Series A funding.
The round was led by Index Ventures, with participation from e.ventures and I2BF. In conjunction with the funding, Nina Achadjian at Index Ventures will join Shopmonkey’s board of directors.
The company plans to use the funding to recruit local talent and invest in product development.
Led by Ashot Iskandarian, founder and CEO, Shopmonkey provides a cloud-based management platform that consolidates the management of running an auto repair business — from appointment scheduling to parts ordering to managing inventory, and processing payments — onto a single platform.
The company’s tools allow users to streamline their entire operation and run, understand and grow their business.
