Mentor Collective Secures $3M in Funding

mentor_collectiveMentor Collective, a Boston, MA-based technology platform that powers mentorship programs in higher education, raised $3m in funding.

The round was led by Lumina Foundation with participation from IU Ventures, Strada Education Network, 10x Impact, EduLab Capital Partners, and Emerge Education.

The company intends to use the funds to expand its business reach with its goal to create 100,000 mentorships by the end of 2020.

Co-founded by Jackson Boyar, CEO, and James Lu Morrissey, COO, Mentor Collective provides a technology platform that powers mentorship programs for colleges and universities to activate intentional relationships between their students, alumni, and employer communities.
The company partners with over 60 educational institutions across the country including Princeton University, Penn State, UC Davis, Indiana University, WashU, and San Francisco State University and has created over 30,000 mentoring relationships to date.
