Kenzie Academy Raises $7.8M in Series A Funding

Kenzie Academy LogoKenzie Academy, an Indianapolis-based college alternative providing job-focused technology training to middle America, raised $7.8m in Series A funding.

The round was led by ReThink Education, with participation from Revolution’s Rise of the Rest Seed Fund, Strada, LearnStart, Peak State Ventures, Flat World Partners, and Kelly Services, through the Kelly Innovation Fund.

The company intends to use the funds to expand operations and business reach.

Founded in September 2017 by Chok Ooi, CEO, Kenzie Academy provides technology training to people looking to accelerate their career. Its one-year project-based curriculum in Software Engineering and UX Engineering aim to connect employers with candidates equipped with the skills they need.
