Earnest Research, a NYC-based provider of data analytics products for measuring the consumer economy, raised $15M in Series B funding.
The round was led by Pivot Investment Partners, with participation from existing investors Greycroft, Osage and Bonfire Ventures.
The company intends to use the funds for growth of its data platform, continued product innovation and the expansion into new industry verticals.
Founded in 2012 by CEO Kevin Carson, Earnest has launched a self-service data analytics platform that provides companies, investors and consulting firms a near real-time view into the consumer economy. Clients leverage the platform to benchmark competitive and customer health metrics, follow customer behavior outside of their four walls and track growth trends in their industry. Today, thousands of business professionals, investors and consultants leverage the platform to make informed strategic and investment decisions.
