App Annie Acquires Libring

appannieApp Annie, a San Francisco, CA-based provider of mobile market data and analytics solutions, acquired Libring, a Boston, MA-based mobile analytics company.

The amount of the deal was not disclosed.

With the acquisition, App Annie will present market data and advertising analytics side by side, enabling mobile publishers and brands to create refined mobile experiences.
Publishers and brands have used App Annie for downloads, revenue, retention, and usage. The company now aims to provide insights that customers can quickly understand and execute against the full range of critical metrics that drive their business, such as customer acquisition cost (CAC), lifetime value (LTV), and return on ad spend (ROAS).

Led by Ted Krantz, CEO, and Aaron Mahimainathan, Chief Product Officer, App Annie is a mobile data and analytics platform for customers to create winning mobile experiences. More than 1,100 enterprise clients and 1 million registered users across the globe and spanning all industries use the platform to increase the performance of their mobile business.
The company also has 12 offices worldwide.

Led by Marcelo Ballestiero, Libring allows users to aggregate and normalize ad revenue, IAP and ad spend data in a single place. Since founding, the company has helped app publishers understand their audience by providing a complete view of monetization, user acquisition, and marketing spend aggregating all the data in a marketing technology stack.
