Amboss Raises €30M in Series B Funding

ambossAmboss, a Berlin, Germany-based medical learning platform, raised €30M in Series B funding.

The round was led by Partech and Target Global, with participation from existing investors Cherry Ventures, Wellington Partners, and Holtzbrinck Digital.

The company intends to use the funds to accelerate international rollout and app development.

Led by Benedikt Hochkirchen, Amboss provides a medical learning platform for future doctors to prepare for their USMLE and NBME exams. Complete with a comprehensive library and Qbank of high-yield exam questions, the system offers detailed analytics of study progress and goals. A series of Learning Cards test future physicians medical knowledge on an array of clinical topics along with a Qbank that covers 15,000+ clinical knowledge areas. Each individual Learning Card and question is developed, checked and cross-checked by a group of physicians to ensure all exam prep material is both clear and comprehensive.
