Upgrade Pack, a London, UK-based platform providing exclusive upgrades on flights and hotels around the world, raised $1.5m in funding.
The round, which brings total funds raised to $4.1m since founding 12 months ago and valued the company at $18m (£15m), was led by Havisham Group, and David Brownlow who join Upgrade Pack as company Chairman.
The company will use the funds to launch its platform in the coming months and expand its operations to North America and Asia Pacific as it rolls out its service to clients, partners, and users worldwide.
Led by Founder and Group CEO Craig Unsworth, Upgrade Pack provides users with tools to upgrade their travel at a reduced cost, while providing banks and corporations with a form of customer reward.
Delivered as an app, the platform connects directly to airline and hotel APIs, enabling users to access live, premium seat and room upgrades at a typical saving of 15% to 35% through its closed online marketplace.
Upgrade Pack is also announcing two new hubs for its global expansion – Toronto for North America and Singapore for Asia Pacific.
