Sorted Raises £15M in Series B Funding

sortedSorted Group, a Manchester, UK–based global delivery software business, raised £15m in Series B funding.

The round, which brought total funding raised to date to more than £35m since its launch in 2010, was led by Merian Chrysalis Investment Company Limited, with participation from Praetura Ventures and NVM Private Equity.

The company intends to use the funds to accelerate the pace of their technology development and international expansion, as well as increasing employee headcount.

Led by David Grimes, founder and CEO, Sorted provides a software as a service (SaaS) delivery management platform which allows both physical and digital retailers to effectively manage their delivery and returns proposition, increase conversion rates, reduce abandoned baskets and increase customer loyalty.
The company has developed three products:
– SortedHERO, an application programming interface solution allowing retailers to display real-time delivery options at checkout
– SortedPRO, a delivery management platform for carrier and shipping management
– SortedREACT, an AI-driven tracking platform that aggregates carrier and delivery communications post purchase.

The software is now live in 12 countries, including the US, France and Germany. The company works with a number of leading companies including ASOS, Lush, N Brown, Wincanton and Clipper Logistics.
