Nyca Partners Closes Third Fund, at $210M

NycaNyca Partners, a NYC-based fintech focused venture capital firm, closed its third fund, at $210M.

Backers in the fund included 21 institutional investors and 55 Limited Partner Advisors.

Started in 2014, Nyca focuses on investing in companies where technology creates a distinct competitive advantage in financial services. Over the past five years, the firm has assembled a group of more than fifty Limited Partner Advisors — or LPAs — who work with the team and its portfolio companies to provide expert knowledge and make innovators successful.

Led by Hans Morris, Ravi Mohan and newly promoted partner David Sica, newly promoted senior associates Sol Lee and Sumeet Singh, principal Stephanie Khoo, who has joined from Goldman Sachs, and Samriti (Sami) Pal and Nikil Konduru, who joined as analysts, Nyca is a venture capital firm focused on connecting innovative companies to the global financial system. The portfolio includes approx. 60 companies including Acorns, Affirm, Amino, Artivest, Blend, Built, Commonbond, Catch, Ethic, Fundbox, Nova, Openfin, Payrange, Personetics, Ribbon, Trace, TrueAccord, Veem, Zendrive, Zero.

In July of 2014, Nyca closed its first fund $30M while in May 2016 they raised Fund II, totaling $140M.
