Liquineq Receives Investment From blufolio

Liquineq AG, a Zug, Switzerland-based global payments immutable Distributed Ledger Technology (iDLT) platform startup, received an investment from blufolio AG.

The amount of the deal was undisclosed.

The company will use the funds to expand its business reach in emerging markets.

Led by Dan Kikinis, Founder, Chairman of the Board, and Chief Science Officer, Liquineq has deployed a immutable Distributed Ledger Technology (iDLT) global payments platform that enables real-time, fully transparent and regulatory-compliant payment transactions at low costs.
The company’s infrastructure as a service model enables joint venture partners and third-party brands to capture new segments of the global payments market.
The platform is protected by a portfolio of patents.

blufolio AG is a Geneva-based investment and advisory firm focused on the blockchain and digital asset industries. It invests in the most promising blockchain-related startups in Switzerland and Europe, via a Luxembourg private fund structure. The founding partners are James Dougall, Mark Browne and Balazs Klemm.
