Dynasty Sports & Entertainment, a Boca Raton, FL-based pricing, distribution and inventory management platform in the sports, music and other live event space, acquired The Ticket Group, an Orange, CA-based yield management and distribution platform focused on the live entertainment ticketing industry.
The amount of the deal was not disclosed.
The acquisition will enable the company to expand its ticketing and services operations.
Founded in 2007, The Ticket Group provides services in pricing, analytics, distribution, and technology & inventory management, and has deep relationships with several sports teams and venues.
The Ticket Group president Eric van de Zilver will remain with Dynasty and all company employees are expected to remain as well.
Led by CEO Cole Rubin, Dynasty is a large technology and services provider dedicated to enabling content holders and professional sellers to automate the ingestion, pricing, distribution and fulfillment of tickets to live events, to maximize their revenue and achieve their attendance goals.
The company recently secured a growth investment from Zelnick Media Capital (ZMC).
