Barracuda Networks, a Campbell, Calif. — based provider of cloud-enabled security solutions, acquired InfiSecure Technologies, a Bengaluru, Karnataka, India-based provider of bot mitigation technology platform provider.
The amount of the deal was not disclosed.
InfiSecure specializes in low-latency detection and mitigation of advanced bots, providing seamless integration with CDNs, WAFs.
Now, the acquisition all allow Barracuda to add advanced capabilities to its recently announced Advanced Bot Protection, which will be available for both the WAF-as-a-Service and Web Application Firewall platforms. The company will leverage a diverse set of data points from its Global Threat Intelligence Infrastructure with the InfiSecure technology, to identify and block advanced bots, including low-and-slow bots.
