Advanced Digital Innovation (UK), a Saltaire, UK-based digital healthcare company advancing a patient app, secures £650k in funding.
NPIF – Mercia Equity Finance, which is managed by Mercia and part of the Northern Powerhouse Investment Fund, provided the funding.
The company intends to use the funds to build its sales and marketing team and further develop its product.
Formed in 2012 and led by CEO John Eaglesham, Advanced Digital Innovation (UK) provides MyPathway, a system that connects patients to their healthcare provider through a web browser or a mobile app.
The solution removes the need for appointment letters and calls and allows patients to negotiate care plans with clinicians. It provides digital triage, supports personalized rehabilitation programs and allows clinicians to monitor patients’ progress and access patient-reported data and feedback.
It is already in use by a number of NHS trusts.
