Unilever completed the acquisition of Tatcha, a Japanese inspired skincare brand.
The announcement of the deal was made on 10th, June, 2019.
The amount of the acquisition was not disclosed.
Unilever will now work with Tatcha’s team to continue to grow the brand globally.
Founded in 2009 by Victoria Tsai, Tatcha is a skincare brand rooted in classical Kyoto rituals introducing Japanese skincare to other parts of the world. Its products, which include the Luminous Dewy Skin Mist, The Silk Canvas primer, The Water Cream moisturizer, and The Deep Cleanse Exfoliating Cleanser, are distributed through retailers in the US and other countries.
