Pixion Games Secures $2M in Seed Funding

Pixion gamesPixion Games, a London, UK-based studio focused on building competitive esports games for mobile devices, closed a $2m seed funding round.

The round was led by Eldridge Industries, with participation from Jabre Capital Family Office and three angel investors.

The company intends to use the funds to develop its games and scale the team, which is already composed of experienced industry professionals from King Digital (“King”), Konami, Curve, and Hutch Games.

Founded in 2017 by Kam Punia, CEO, Pixion Games is a mobile games studio building competitive games for everyone. The studio develops real-time multiplayer mobile games that are accessible and inclusive. Its titles provide bite-sized action within minutes, providing a “lunchtime esports” experience by capturing Player Versus Player gaming action into short sessions on mobile.

This latest round comes after Pixion Games received pre-seed and follow-on funding from former King executives, Nir Efrat, and Alan Fung.
