Paragraf Raises £12.8M in Series A Funding

paragraf-logo-newParagraf, a University of Cambridge, UK-founded graphene technology company, raised £12.8m in Series A funding.

The round was led by university spin-out investor Parkwalk with participation from IQ Capital Partners, Amadeus Capital Partners and Cambridge Enterprise, the commercialization arm of the University of Cambridge, as well as several angel investors.

This round of funding will enable product development that will transition the business into a commercial, revenue-generating business.

Led by Simon Thomas, CEO, Paragraf delivers IP-protected graphene technology using standard, mass-production-scale manufacturing to enable enhancements in the next generation of electronic, energy and medical devices, enabling next generation electronics, including computing speeds, improved medical diagnostics and higher efficiency renewable energy generation as well as products such as instant charging batteries and low power, flexible electronics.
