Jamf Acquires Digita Security

jamfJamf, a Minneapolis, MN-based Mac, iPad, iPhone and Apple TV management solutions for your small business, school or enterprise environment, acquired Digita Security, a creator of enterprise-grade, purpose-built endpoint protection solutions designed to protect Mac users from malicious activities and threats, all while preserving the Apple experience.

The amount of the deal was not disclosed.

With Digita Security, Jamf will complement its Apple management, authentication and account management solutions with a security offering to provide a suite of capabilities in the Apple enterprise market.
Details regarding availability of Jamf’s enterprise endpoint protection solution will be announced in the near future.

Led by Dean Hager, CEO, Jamf is committed to enabling IT to empower end users and bring the Apple experience to businesses, education and government organizations via its Jamf Pro, Jamf Now and ZuluDesk products.
The company, which has offices in Minneapolis, Eau Claire, Cupertino, New York, Amsterdam, Katowice, Sydney, Hong Kong and Tokyo, serves 30,000 global customers which manage 15 million Apple devices.

Digita Security provides a new enterprise endpoint protection solution built exclusively for Mac that works with and extends an organization’s existing security framework. Its approach is to fully leverage and extend the complete and native security capabilities for macOS to deliver a relevant solution for Mac on the market.
