Cervello Ltd, a Tel Aviv-based cybersecurity startup, secured $4.5m in seed funding.
The round was led by North First Ventures and Awz Ventures, with participation Nissim Bar-El (founder of Comsec Consulting Ltd).
The company intends to use the funds to continue to expand operations and its business reach.
Founded in 2017 and led by Roie Onn, CEO, Shaked Kafzan, CTO, and Nadav Avidan, COO, Cervello provides rail and metro companies with proven solutions and services to protect railways against cyber attacks.
Its cyber security dashboard gives operators real-time intelligence, forensics and visibility on their overall fleet condition. The solution continuously assesses vulnerabilities and weaknesses in the signalling architecture, manages the railway assets and configuration, and offers a response to threats in order to mitigate risks.
The platform offers integration with existing SIEM/SOC workflows and environments for ultimate IT/OT cyber security control.
