Liveoak Technologies, an Austin, Texas- and New York City-based enterprise cloud company for virtual interaction, closed an $8m Series A round of funding.
The round was led by S3 Ventures, with participation from Seven Peaks Ventures, Wild Basin Investments, State Farm Ventures, Northwestern Mutual Future Ventures, and Broadhaven Capital Partners. In conjunction with the funding, Charlie Plauche, Partner at S3 Ventures and Tom Gonser, founder of DocuSign and Partner at Seven Peaks Ventures will join the Liveoak Technologies board of directors.
The company intends to use the funds to accelerate product development and global market expansion.
Founded in 2015, and led by Tim Ramza, CEO, Liveoak provides an enterprise cloud platform that enables company representatives to connect, engage and complete work with customers in a virtual interation environment. Key features of the platform include modern conferencing, patented collaboration, live e-Signature and efficient data/I.D. capture – all combined with bank-grade security and a complete audit system.
