KSM Consulting, an Indianapolis-based firm specializing in technology, data analytics and management consulting, acquired Connect Think, an Indianapolis app development company.
The amount of the deal was not disclosed.
The acquisition will expand KSMC’s business applications practice. In addition, KSMC has promoted Ryan Achterberg to Director of Applications to lead the business unit.
Eight former Connect Think founders and employees have joined the KSMC team under Achterberg’s leadership as a result of the acquisition.
KSMC’s business applications practice will service Connect Think’s clients and complete existing development projects. In addition, KSMC plans to hire up to eight additional employees to support the growing client need for application development, integration and management.
Achterberg, a Microsoft Certified System Expert, was the second employee to join KSMC in 2010 as a senior consultant. His experience spans technology advisory and assessments, software implementations, network design and implementation, and cloud solutions such as Office 365 and Microsoft Azure.
Founded in 2008 and by Mark Caswell, CEO, KSM Consulting is a technology, data analytics and management consulting firm which works with more than 300 public and private sector organizations across all industries throughout the United States.
In April 2019, the company received a majority investment from Renovus Capital Partners.
