dfuse Secures US$3.5M in Seed Funding

dfusedfuse, a Montreal, Canada-based blockchain API company, raised $3.5m in seed funding.

The round was led by Multicoin Capital and Intel Capital, with participation from Diagram Ventures, BoxOne Ventures, Panache Ventures, and White Star Capital.

The new funds will be used to expand its cross-blockchain technology platform and grow its engineering and customer success teams.

Founded by a team of serial tech entrepreneurs, Marc-Antoine Ross, Richard Reiner, Alexandre Bourget and Mathieu Boulianne, with the support of startup foundry Diagram Ventures, dfuse provides a Web3 data stack, with GraphQL, WebSocket and REST APIs to build blockchain applications.
The company’s four flagship products include:
– dfuse Stream, which delivers real-time updates reflecting the state of the blockchain.
– dfuse Lifecycle, which makes it easy to submit transactions to the blockchain and receive guaranteed irreversibility in a single call.
– dfuse Search, which enables developers to query the entire transaction history of the blockchain using a query language.
– dfuse On Demand Networks, which provides dedicated on-demand blockchain environments for dev, test or production, packed with the full suite of dfuse products, ready for any development team.
