Button Raises $30M in Series C Funding

ButtonButton, a NYC-based provider of a platform that enables companies to drive revenue through mobile commerce, raised $30m in Series C funding.

The round was led by Icon Ventures with participation from Capital One Ventures and returning investors Redpoint Ventures, Norwest Venture Partners, and DCM Ventures. In conjunction with the funding, Jeb Miller, General Partner of Icon Ventures, will be joining Button’s board of directors.

The company intends to use the funds to accelerate product development to build a more dynamic mobile infrastructure, grow its strategic partnerships, expand its team and international presence, and scale its platform.

Founded in 2014 and led by Michael Jaconi, CEO, Button is a mobile commerce platform that enables companies to drive revenue through commerce in their mobile apps and websites. Through technology, Button embeds commerce inside publisher apps so that brands can grow their mobile business and publishers can increase their mobile revenue.
The company, which has raised over $64m, employs more than 100 people across New York, San Francisco, and London.
