BlueRidge.AI, a Fulton, MD-based provider of a predictive analytics platform for manufacturing sector, closed a $1.9m seed funding.
The round was led by DataTribe, a global cyber foundry that creates and co-builds cybersecurity and data science companies.
The company intends to use the funds to accelerate time to market by expanding its engineering team and sales organization.
Founded by Lloyd Clark, BlueRidge.AI is integrating the Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT), machine learning (ML) to predict and prevent costly unplanned downtimes with minimal IT integration. Its sensors and AI are already in action with select Fortune 500 manufacturers and heavy industrial companies.
