WarOnCancer, a Stockholm, Sweden-based provider of an app dedicated to improving the mental health of people affected by cancer, raised €840k in funding.
Backers included angels Karl-Johan Persson, Stefan Krook, and Daniel Pilotti.
The company intends to use the funds to continue to build the team and expand globally.
Founded in 2015 by Fabian Bolin, CEO, Sebastian Hermelin, COO, WarOnCancer is a social network for patients, survivors and family members to capture and share photos, moments, feelings and experiences through the illness path.
The company is also advancing a new feature called Track your Impact” to allow people to share health data.
