RangeForce Raises $1.5M in Seed Funding Round

RangeForce_teamRangeForce, an Estonia and New York-based cybersecurity startup, raised $1.5m in seed funding.

The round was led by Paladin Capital Group with participation from Trind Ventures. In conjunction with the funding, Gibb Witham from Paladin Capital Group will join RangeForce’s board of directors.

The company intends to use the funds to recruit additional talent to expand the product platform.

Founded in 2015 by Taavi Must, Jaanus Kink and Margus Ernits, RangeForce develops a cyber simulation and skills analytics platform where cyber and IT professionals can learn and test defensive cyber skills in cyber battle games. Its platform helps companies deal with their cybersecurity and information security vulnerabilities by training their security specialists and IT professionals to learn the latest and most effective skills in cyber siege warfare to anticipate and fend off attacks on business critical assets.
The solution provides a progression of realistic cyber siege scenarios to train and assess technical teams’ decision-making and security skills over the entire spectrum of threat lifecycle management operations.
As a result, its performance-based skills measurement analytics engine provides continuous evidence that teams are prepared against cybersecurity threats.

RangeForce has a global customer base across the financial, technology and healthcare sectors. Clients include Microsoft, Barclays, Santander, and Pipedrive.
