kea Closes Nearly $3M Seed Funding Round

keakea, a Los Altos, Calif.-based developer of a proprietary Voice AI platform, closed a nearly $3m seed funding round.

Backers included Streamlined Ventures, Xfund, Deepcore Fund, Raj Kapoor, Dustin Dolginow and Tyler Willis, and Tony Lam and Craig Flom.

The company intends to use the funds to scale its Voice AI phone order platform for franchises and Quick Service Restaurants (QSRs).

Led by Adam Ahmad, founder and CEO, kea provides franchises and Quick Service Restaurants (QSRs) with a proprietary voice AI phone ordering system that can take unlimited orders simultaneously, and learn which types of drinks and snacks are most common with each order.
Voice AI from kea fulfills unlimited phone orders simultaneously and enables meal bundling opportunities. It uses this data to learn what types of drinks and snacks are most common with specific orders, then makes suggestions based on customer needs.
