Guardicore Raises $60M in Series C Funding

guardicoreGuardicore, a Boston, Mass. and Tel Aviv, Israel – based provider of internal data center and cloud security solutions, raised $60m in Series C funding.

The round, which brought total funding to $110m, was led by new investor Qumra Capital with participation from new investors DTCP, Partech, and ClalTech, Access Industries’ vehicle for Israeli technology investments, and existing investors Battery Ventures, 83North, TPG Growth, and Greenfield Partners.

The company intends to use the funds to accelerate continued growth and accelerate investments in sales, marketing and customer service.

Led by Pavel Gurvich, CEO and co-founder, Guardicore provides enterprise organizations with a security platform to seek to protect dynamic data center and cloud infrastructure environments.
The company protects data centers of large and mid-sized enterprises across North America, South America, and EMEA in financial, healthcare and retail industries, including global, blue-chip brands.

In conjunction with the funding, Ram Metser, Executive Chairman of Segterra, Inc., an innovative digital health analytics company, and former CEO of Guardium, Inc., a dominant database security company acquired by IBM, joined the Guardicore board of directors.
