GameClub Inc., a NYC-based developer of premium mobile game experiences, raised $2.5m in seed funding.
Backers included:

The company intends to use the funds to continu to develop its games, with the target of launch them in 2019.

Led by CEO and co-founder Dan Sherman, GameClub is advancing titles designed for and downloaded to a mobile device, allowing people to play games anywhere with or without an internet connection.
The company is currently live in soft launch on iOS smartphones and tablets in select test markets.
