Connect Homes Raises $10.8M In Series A Funding

connect homesConnect Homes, a Los Angeles, CA-based prefab housing provider, closed $10.8m Series A funding.

The round was led by Brick & Mortar Ventures and Virgo Investment Group, with participation from MetaProp, Almubader Growth Fund, and Wells Fargo Strategic Capital. In conjunction with the funding, Darren Bechtel from Brick & Mortar Ventures and Scott Johnson from Virgo Investment Group will join the board of directors.

The company intends to use the funds to increase application of its patented modular technology.

Launched in 2013 by architects Jared Levy and Gordon Stott, Connect Homes has developed a patented modular system that can deliver green homes to national housing markets from a California factory. Its line of 14 standard homes are adapted to a client’s needs in its BIM (Building Information Modeling) software platform.
