Ridgemont Equity Partners Hires One and Promotes Six

ridgemont equity partnersRidgemont Equity Partners, a Charlotte, NC-based middle market private equity firm, hired Anthony Cassano as a Partner in the firm’s Tech & Telecom practice.

Cassano will focus on investments in the Tech & Telecom space. He spent the last 10 years at Spire Capital Partners. Prior to that, Cassano was at Citigroup and Ernst & Young. He has a BS from James Madison University and an MBA from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business.

In addition, Ridgemont announced that Charles Anderson, Tim Dillon and Cay Freihofer were promoted to Partner, Seth Peck was promoted to Principal, Tyler Houin was promoted to Vice President, and Dan Norton was promoted to Senior Associate.
Karen Garrison was promoted to Fund Controller on Ridgemont’s Finance and Operations Team.

Founded in 1993, Ridgemont Equity Partners focuses on equity investments up to $250m in industries in which it has deep expertise, including business and industrial services, energy, healthcare, and technology and telecommunications.
In 2018, the firm closed its newest flagship fund, REP III, at $1.65 billion in commitments, up from $995 million in REP II. With AUM now in excess of $3.5 billion, Ridgemont has increased the size of its team by 25% over the last 18 months and expanded into new office space in Charlotte.
