UK freelance industry growth spurs entrepreneur and ICOBox co-founder Mike Raitsyn to create a new platform for freelance digital designers
London, April 4, 2019 – UK-based IT-investor and serial entrepreneur, Mike Raitsyn launches a new freelance Treylance platform for designers with whitelist contest rankings. A special focus is made on providing a high-quality and cost effective service for those clients and companies who`re looking to create and manage experienced design staff in remote teams.
The platform is designed with freelance work in mind and puts an emphasis on providing a quality service for everyone involved. As well as an intuitive interface, it also supports professionalism, giving freelancers a real chance to advance their careers.
The Treylance platform combines the functionality of freelance and marketing agencies with a low-cost base, similar to other traditional freelance platforms. Employers can choose from 3 alternative options for the completion of their project, giving them precise control over the way each project is handled and completed.
The Treylance service has an online whitelist contest ranking of designers which is based on:
- Freelancers’ previous experience in specific design segments.
- Their previous completed projects.
- Open and hidden client testimonials.
These features help the new platform stand apart from other platforms on the market right now.
It also gives professionals much more freedom to define their work.
“The freelancing sector is a highly disruptive niche. My aim is to mix the cost effectiveness of existing freelancing platforms with the service level of a design agency – that’s how the Treylance service works. Our managers choose the best freelancers for a client`s task, budget and coordinate all further work with them, while the client just needs to drop a few lines about the project to the project manager. Then in a guaranteed time frame of around 3 days, receives the best options to choose and pay for their preferred freelancer. We`ve already established a global designer community specializing in all areas of design, including logo designers, web designers, graphic and brochure designers from the USA, UK, and Europe.” Mike Raitsyn explains.
Research carried out by the Office for National Statistics shows that, in 2001, there were 3.3 million people working for themselves in 2001. That rose to 4.8 million by 2017. Today, one in seven workers are self-employed.
According to the Freelancers Union, overall freelancers have contributed $21 billion (£16 billion) to the UK economy. In the meantime, freelancing industries have increased 46% in 2018 from the previous year. Meanwhile, over a third (34%) of organizations engages freelance workers for 12 months or longer. Some 20% of organizations have a workforce that is comprised of 30% or more contingent workers.
