HiMama Raises CAD$7.25M in Series A Funding

HiMama, a Toronto, CA-based childcare tech startup, raised CAD $7.25M in Series A funding.

The round was led by Round 13 Capital. In conjunction with the funding, Round 13 Capital managing partner Bruce Croxon will join the HiMama Board of Directors.

The company intends to use the funds to expand its childcare software offering.

Co-founded by CEO Ron Spreeuwenberg and CTO Alana Frome, HiMama provides a software solution dor child care programs to plan lessons, document childrens’ development, share updates with families, and accept tuition payments, improving operations while keeping parents connected with their children.
The solution is used in thousands of child care centers globally and, to date, has captured more than 400 million moments.

The company is a Certified B Corporation.
