Ceipal, a Rochester, New York and Hyderabad, India-based provider of an SaaS platform that automates both the front and back-office business operations of staffing companies, raised $7.5m in funding.
Backers included Resolve Growth Partners and existing backer Mistral Venture Partners. In conjunction with the funding, Jit Sinha and Chris Rhodes will join Ceipal’s board of directors.
The company intends to use the funds to scale product development, sales and support teams.
Founded in 2015 by CEO Sameer Penakalapati, Ceipal provides a product suite that offers a complete workforce management platform including a fully integrated applicant tracking system (ATS) and human resource information system (HRIS).
The company serves over 1,000 customers and 12,000 recruiters globally.
