AskNicely Raises $10M in Series A Funding

asknicelyAskNicely, a Portland, Oregon, and Auckland, New Zealand-based customer experience platform provider, raised USD10m in Series A funding.

The round was led by Nexus Venture Partners, with participation from existing investors Blackbird Ventures and K1W1. In conjunction with the funding, Abhishek Sharma of Nexus Venture Partners will join the AskNicely board.

The company intends to use the funds to continue to build out the platform.

Co-founded by Aaron Ward and John Ballinger, AskNicely provides a platform that allows businesses to stay on top of customer feedback, motivate staff to deliver improved customer experiences and drive customer advocacy.
The latest product advancement, Conversations, is an intelligent customer feedback framework that captures feedback with a familiar chat format where questions vary dynamically based on intelligence about the customer’s situation and sentiment.
It supports all customer experience metrics including Net Promoter Score (NPS), Customer Satisfaction (CSAT) and Customer Effort Score (CES) and integrates with over 40 different platforms including Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Intercom, Zendesk and Hubspot.

The system is used by over 1,000 businesses globally.

AskNicely now has over 50 employees across offices in Auckland, New Zealand where it was originally founded and Portland, Oregon where the business is now headquartered.
