Vista Credit Partners has led a $175m recapitalization for Meltwater, a San Francisco-based provider of media intelligence solutions.
The company will use the funds to further invest in products.
Led by Founder and CEO Jorn Lyseggen, Meltwater provides more than 30,000 companies around the world with solutions to monitor traditional and social media to gain insights on relevant trends and conversations across the media landscape.
The company, which has 2,000 employees in 55 offices spread throughout North America, Europe, Asia, Africa, Australia, and South America, also operates the Meltwater Entrepreneurial School of Technology (MEST), a nonprofit organization devoted to nurturing future generations of entrepreneurs.
