Jason R. Fernandez Joins Quake Capital as Managing Partner of Accelerator

quake capitalQuake Capital, an early stage investor focused on making seed level investments across a wide range of industries, hired Jason Fernandez as Managing Partner for the Austin based program.

Based in Austin, Fernandez will manage Quake’s ATX office and be responsible for overseeing its ATX accelerator program, as well as the firm’s Investor and Advisor Network.

Fernandez, who brings 20 years’ experience in the financial services sector across startup, midsize and large corporate landscapes, joins Quake from BASE Equity Partners, where he served as an operations and finance partner.
Over the course of his career, including the last decade in Austin, Fernandez has been involved with numerous capital raises, investments and acquisitions across industry verticals.
He has been an Executive Board member for both Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Texas and College Forward and also served as Board President.
Fernandez is currently an Executive Board member for TeXchange.
