HealthTech Venture Capital Firm aMoon Closes Second Fund, at $660M

aMoon, a Ra’Anana, Israel-based HealthTech focused venture capital firm, closed its second fund, at $660M.

Launched in April 2018, aMoon 2 is a mid-to-late stage fund investing in biopharma, medical device and digital health companies. To date, the fund has invested in four Israeli companies and a fifth in Silicon Valley, founded by an Israeli entrepreneur.

Founded by Dr. Yair Schindel MD, former CMO of the Israeli Navy Seals and CEO of Israel’s National Digital Bureau, and anchored by Marius Nacht, Co-Founder and Chairman of Check Point Software, the firm aims to accelerate cure for life-threatening diseases and reduce major cost-drivers in healthcare, by leveraging the convergence of healthcare and technology.
In May 2018, they announced a strategic partnership with Credit Suisse to provide investors with direct access to the fast-growing health tech sector.
