Ceros Raises $14M in Series C Funding

cerosCeros, a NYC-based provider of an interactive content platform, raised $14M in Series C funding.

The round, which brought total raise to $33.5M, led by Greenspring Associates, with participation from existing investors Grotech Ventures, CNF Investments, Sigma Prime Ventures, StarVest Partners, Greycroft and Silicon Valley Bank.

The company intends to use the funds for continued product innovation, strategic acquisitions and further growth.

Founded in 2013 and led by Simon Berg, Chief Executive Officer, Ceros is a cloud-based professional platform that allows marketers and designers to create rich interactive content without code or traditional web development.
At its core, Ceros sells design software for creating interactive media like animations, video and highly visual content. Customers include United Airlines, Red Bull, CBRE, McKinsey, and IBM; publishers like Mashable, Condé Nast, NBC, and VICE; and sports teams like the Baltimore Ravens, Detroit Lions, and Washington Wizards.
The company has offices in New York and London.
