MycoTechnology, a Denver, CO-based developer of a novel organic food processing platform that transforms agricultural material into functional ingredients, closed a $30m in Series C funding.
The round was co-led by S2G Ventures Fund II, Middleland MT Holdings, ADM Capital’s Cibus Fund, and TML-Invest S.à r.l. with participation from Tysons Ventures, Bunge Ventures Limited, Continental Grain Company, Eighteen94 Capital, and DNS-Hiitake LLC.
The company intends to use the funds to accelerate expansion and accelerate R&D project execution, of the team in order to facilitate current and future projects.
Led by Alan Hahn, CEO, Anthony Clark, CSO, Rick Becker, COO, and Jonathan Jachimiec, CFO, MycoTechnology has developed a novel organic food processing platform that transforms agricultural material into functional ingredients that address the biggest challenges in the food and beverage industry. The offering includes:
– ClearTaste, which allows companies to reduce the sugar content of their products by blocking bitterness;
– PureTaste®, which provides a sustainable, functional, and nutritional plant based protein.
