Immersive Labs, a Bristol, UK-based cyber security skills platform, raised $8m in Series A funding.
The round was led by Goldman Sachs, with participation from unnamed private investors.
The company intends to use the funds to develop its platform, expand its offering and to increase its business reach.
Founded by CEO James Hadley, Immersive Labs is a cybersecurity skills platform for enterprise IT and other cybersecurity teams to acquire the latest security skills by combining up to date threat data with what is described as “gamified” learning. The platform gives users hands-on cyber skills development and the opportunity to learn by doing with hundreds of labs to complete, ranging from cyber security theory to practical challenges and contained live threats.
Clients include BAE Systems, Sophos and Grant Thornton, among others.
