CherryCircle Software, a Austin, Texas-based solutions provider for pharmaceutical process development, secured $2.3m in seed financing.
Backers included ATX Seed Ventures, PLH Business Ventures and Hudson Park Capital and several industry veterans.
The company will use the proceeds from this round to fund new hires, expand its platform, and scale its customer operations.
Started in 2016 by Yash Sabharwal and Ryan Shillington, CherryCircle Software is developing cloud-based software solutions to manage the development of complex manufacturing processes in regulated industries. Its flagship product, QbDVision, focuses on the pharmaceutical industry providing tools using quality-by-design principles to assist the pharmaceutical industry with complex manufacturing challenges.
In September of 2018, the company released its Americana version of QbDVision to the market. The cloud-based software solution allows users to manage pharmaceutical process development aligned with ISPE’s Pharma 4.0 initiatives.
Since launch, QbDVision has seen the immediate adoption and is ramping up sales and marketing activities to grow its customer base.
