Allvision Raises $3.2M in Seed Funding

allvisionAllvision, a Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania-based geospatial analytics company providing insights and business intelligence to verticals such as infrastructure management, insurance, advertising and security, raised $3.2m in seed funding.

The round was led by Lavrock Ventures, joined by The Robotics Hub, IDEA Fund Partners, and Sands Capital Ventures.

The company intends o sue the funds to accelerate product development, further hires and pursue additional go-to-market opportunities.

Led by Dr. Aaron Morris, co-founder and CEO, Allvision develops a platform to enable street level analytics at global scale. It aggregates multiple sources of 3D data and, through the power of Machine Learning and Cloud Computing, provides analysis to derive actionable information. The insights coming out of the system gives businesses and governments the ability to make informed decisions in near real-time.
